Drawing on a diverse range of influences, from folk, and all the way to rock and metal, Max creates music that speaks to the heart, often blending raw emotion with innovative soundscapes. His songs are characterized by a unique blend of vulnerability and strength, capturing the complexities of human experience in every note.

In October 2023, Max released his album "Memento Mori," an alternative rock opera narrating a ghost's final day on earth before fading away, focusing on his desire to see his beloved one last time. Max has performed in various emo/pop-punk bands, touring extensively along the East Coast, but is currently working on his Folk Rock Project, Max Bartos and the Misfit Toys, who gig all around the world. Max just released his newest album, Waiting At The Crossroads, and wrapped up a 30-date tour. He is in the process of finalizing and recording his next album. Stay tuned for more!
